In fact, it is proven that after guns are banned that crime rates go up significantly. Banning guns will not make crime rates go down. This is probably some of the worst piece of legislation that hinders the freedom of Americans that could ever be put through congress. Apparently because of the Connecticut shooting Dianne Feinstein is trying to push legislation through that will ban all so-called “assault rifles.” The characteristics of the guns she claims to be assault rifles don’t even match the description of a real assault rifle.
